As a believer, you know that God has a plan and purpose for your life, but did you know that also includes your business? In this fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, it's easy to get caught up in the daily tasks of running a business and forget to seek God's guidance and direction. Most coaching and business strategies point you to chase nonstop after personal achievements and hustling for your dreams-it's all about the more that you can do. But that kind of lifestyle can end up feeling empty and unfulfilling.
With that being said, let's explore what it means to make God the CEO of your business! It doesn't have to be difficult or feel any sort of awkward. There are simple, practical ways to invite His presence and guidance into every aspect of what you do - from decision-making to relationships with clients and employees. Once you view your business through this lens, I'm sure you'll find it will all become quite natural- and you'll learn biblical principles that support successful, faithful business practices, and how to apply them in your business.

- 1. Start With Prayer & Fasting: As a Christian female entrepreneur, you know that faith plays a vital role in every aspect of your life, including your business. You pray for guidance, seek wisdom from the Bible, and trust God's plans for your future. But have you considered incorporating prayer and fasting into your business strategy?As a Christian entrepreneur, it's essential to start every day with prayer. But fasting can also connect with the Lord and make an even deeper impact. This self-denial allows you to focus on spiritual matters and seek a deeper connection with The Lord. And when you pray and fast for your business, you truly invite Him in as your CEO.
- 2. Seek Godly Counsel: Proverbs 15:22 says, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed." When reading this, understand it's written to believers so you want to take careful consideration of who you learn from. Surround yourself with other Christian entrepreneurs or mentors who can offer godly wisdom and support and who share your values and a similar vision for your business. If you seek counsel from an outside source, remember to line up their advice with scripture, and to take the best and leave the rest.
- 3. Set Biblical Standards: As a Christian business owner, it's essential to set high standards of ethics and integrity in all you do. Seek to honor God in all aspects of your business, from your mission statement, to how you treat your employees, to how you market your products or services. You may also want to consider incorporating prayer and Bible study into your daily routine, starting meetings with prayer, or implementing a company-wide time for devotions. You can also offer faith-based products or services that align with your values and beliefs.

It's all about stewarding well what you've been given or would like to attain. Seek His guidance as you set goals and ask Him to reveal His plan and vision for your business. Look for ways to align your goals with His purposes and seek to honor Him in all your endeavors. Staying connected to God's Word and the wisdom found within it is one of the best ways you can learn how to care for these things wisely.
- 10. Trust in God's Provision: Finally, as you seek to make God the CEO of your business, remember to trust in His provision. Know that He has a plan and purpose for your business and that He will provide all that you need to fulfill it. Seek to live in a posture of faith, trusting in God's provision and guidance every step of the way. He is able to do abundantly more than you could ever ask or think. And the vision, dreams, and gifts He's placed within you are a part of what make you so special and unique - crafted, created, and designed by Him. He who called you is faithful and when you partner with God, you can trust Him to finish the work He started in you. Salvation, character, and yes, your business too!
Making God the CEO of your business is a continuous journey that requires intentionality and faith. By seeking His direction, incorporating faith-based practices, surrounding yourself with like-minded believers, practicing stewardship (and so much more!) you can align your business with God's plan and make Kingdom-impact on the world around you
